Compensation: $16-22/hour
Our Pool Maintenance Technician position is responsible for routine weekly pool cleaning and pool equipment maintenance for residential and commercial pools. The ideal candidate can provide excellent customer service, work as part of a well-established team, love to work outdoors, be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with minimal guidance throughout your day. A Pool Maintenance Technician at ASP Central Houston will:
- Enjoy working outdoors, particularly in Houston’s varying conditions.
- Thrive in an environment where they are actively problem solving.
- Manage a swimming pool route that includes the cleaning of swimming pools each week.
- Maintain regular stock of chemicals on the company issued truck and properly adjust the water chemistry for each pool each week.
- Be able to utilize a smart phone for our Pool Ops mobile platform.
- Be able to identify equipment repair needs and communicate those needs to the customer and handle yourself or with assistance from your support team and/or leadership.
- Participate in or complete other tasks as needed by the ASP Central Houston team.
Character and teamwork are paramount to making sure each customer is pleased with our work and each teammate can succeed. The minimum requirements for our Pool Maintenance Technician are:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in all conditions common to Houston
- Smartphone (stipend provided)
- Agree to a background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator License is valued but not required
